My name is Rich Smith and I am the new Executive Director of Family Pathways. I am writing this letter to introduce myself and to tell you about the very positive growth and transitions that Family Pathways is experiencing this year.
I consider myself to be a very fortunate person. I grew up in St. Paul with one brother. We both were adopted as young children and raised by loving parents who instilled in us the idea that there is no higher calling than to be of service to others. My brother continues to live in St. Paul, in the house we grew up in, and has dedicated his career to law enforcement, currently serving as the Chief of Police for St. Paul. I live in Lino Lakes with my wife Ann – we will be celebrating our 30th anniversary this year. We have 2 children in college and we could not be more proud of them.
