“As a volunteer, I’ve seen firsthand the relief in someone’s eyes when they come in and find a friendly face and fresh food to take home to their children.” remarks Al Schulz, Commercial Lender Stearns Bank in North Branch. “Our customers, just like other business’ customers, are regular people who sometimes fall on hard times and need temporary assistance while they get on their feet.” Stearns Bank not only hosts Food & Fund Drives for Family Pathways’ food shelves, but are generous investors in the mission to improve health and well-being across the region. Along with the Norman Skalicky Family Foundation, Stearns Bank in North Branch and Pine City generously contributed $40,000 to the Family Pathways By Your Side end-of year-campaign for the past two years. Their partnership and support translates into thousands of healthy meals made available to our neighbors.
Family Pathways is a tremendous asset to our community. There would be a lot of people hurt without it. If we’re able to do something that makes our community better, it benefits
