“Together As Family”
After retiring from 36 years of teaching German at Osseo Senior High, Sandy Hewitt brought her generous spirit and love of helping others to the Maple Grove Food Shelf. When she moved to North Branch in 2002, she continued volunteering with the same dedication and warmth, supporting our food shelves through many changes. Her curiosity and joy for learning shine through in her OLLI classes, book club, and time spent gardening—always embracing life with compassion, energy, and heart.
