Batterers Intervention Program
Family Pathways offers a Batterers Intervention Program, called Step-Up, that is a psycho-educational group led by trained professional facilitators. Through this program, batterers learn to identify abusive behaviors and are taught to react to situations non-abusively and to communicate with their partner.
Batterers Intervention Programs differ from, and are not replaceable by, substance abuse treatments, mental health services, or family, marital, couples or other counseling. While participation is often court-ordered, individuals can also voluntarily attend by contacting Family Pathways directly.
24-Hour Crisis Intervention
Violence Intervention program for a person who inflicts violent physical abuse upon a child, spouse, or other person. Education on the cycle and lasting effects of abuse.
Family Pathways provides around-the-clock service, advocacy, and shelter for all victims of violence. Our 24-hour crisis line provides information, resources, safety planning, and support to all victims of domestic and sexual violence.
