FAQS:
Q: Why should I donate my vehicle to Family Pathways?
A: Your donation directly supports local programs like food shelves, youth services, and family support. It’s an easy, free way to turn an unused vehicle into hope and resources for your neighbors in need.
Q: How does the donation process work?
A: First, we assess every vehicle donation that we receive. Then, in partnership with Remarket Space (formally Twin Cities Auctions), we sell your vehicle. Once your vehicle has been sold, the proceeds stay in our community to help local families gain access to food, shelter and safety. Finally, we mail you your tax-deductible donation receipt.
Q: What type of vehicles do you accept?
A: We accept cars, vans, SUVs, and trucks at this time!
Q: I can’t find my title, can I still donate my car?
Yes, you just need to provide the VIN and sign a Limited Power of Attorney document. Prior to us picking up the vehicle, we’ll verify you are the owner listed to the vehicle and make sure there are no current liens. If there was a past lien, you would need to obtain and provide the lien release at pickup.
